This year’s edition of The Abbey Correspondent takes a specific interest in the brain,  highlighting the importance of understanding the different ways people think and behave. The journal takes a look at the scientific explanations of certain conditions such as ADHD and autism, whilst also exploring a more personal perspective on these different conditions. Mental health, and its connection to crime is also examined, looking at how this link can be explained. This edition has adopted a science-fiction based lens,  looking at attempts to connect the human brain with electronic devices, and at the possibility of life on other planets.

We hope you enjoy this year’s focus on science and the brain.

Happy reading!
